John Northridge appointed non executive director of RFIB Group Limited
RFIB Group Limited (RFIB), the international Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker, today announces that John Northridge has joined the board as a non executive director.
Mr Northridge was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of specialist UK broking group, Alfred Blackmore for 15 years until its acquisition by international broker, Alexander Forbes, in 2001. Following the acquisition, he was a director of Alexander Forbes PLC with responsibility for the group’s Professions and Specialty division until leaving the group in November 2003.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Northridge said: “RFIB is one of the leading mid-sized broking operations in the London market. It has a strong reputation and good people and is well positioned to take advantage of the many opportunities in the current broking environment. I am delighted to have been asked to be a part of that team.”
